Teach Access CSUN Meetup

The Teach Access Meetup, sponsored by Verizon, on Tuesday, March 11th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm PT, will be casual and include a few quick remarks. Ballpark pretzels, candy, and other fun snacks will be served.

New Course on Microsoft MS Learn

We are excited to announce a new “Introduction to Inclusive Design in Practice” course in collaboration with Microsoft, now available for free on MS Learn. The course covers technical topics like keyboard accessibility, screen reader support, color contrast, and resize and reflow techniques. By addressing these foundational areas, the content aims to enhance accessibility education for developers, designers, and digital professionals seeking to build more inclusive products and services.

Teach Access Student Academy

The 2025 Teach Access Student Academy was a resounding success, with over 1,100 registrants joining globally for this two-day virtual event! The Academy provided an engaging lineup of expert speakers, interactive sessions, and career-focused discussions. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Merck & Co., Inc., and other sponsors, Verizon, Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, and Meta, for allowing us to offer this program free of charge.

Teach Access Announces Newest Hub

We are pleased to announce our newest Academic Hub, the University System of Maryland William E. Kirwan Center for Academic Innovation! This collaboration aims to advance accessibility education, research, and practice by integrating accessibility-focused initiatives into faculty development, curriculum design, and institutional strategy across USM.

Learn more about the partnership between The Kirwan Center and Teach Access. This partnership marks a significant step toward embedding accessibility in higher education and fostering a new generation of professionals dedicated to inclusive design and innovation.
