Resource Use & Equity Policy Statement

At Teach Access, our mission is to ensure equitable access to high-quality educational resources for students, educators, and institutions. We proudly provide free, open-access materials created and maintained by our nonprofit staff, volunteers, and program participants, with generous support from philanthropic contributions.

Who These Resources Are For

Our free resources are primarily designed for non-commercial use by:

  • Educators, staff, and students, including those without access to institutional support
  • Nonprofit organizations working in accessibility education

Corporate Use and Responsibility

We recognize that corporate academies, workforce development programs, and internal learning teams use our materials. While we welcome this growing interest, we also believe in a shared responsibility to sustain the work behind these resources.

If your organization:

  • Operates a corporate learning and development program
  • Uses our resources in employee training or professional development
  • Accesses our materials as part of a commercial, revenue-generating, or internally funded education initiative

…we respectfully ask that you support our mission through a financial contribution or corporate sponsorship.

This helps ensure that:

  • Materials do not violate the Creative Commons License (see below)
  • Our nonprofit mission remains sustainable
  • Access remains free for under-resourced students and institutions
  • Your organization aligns with education equity efforts

How to Support

If your organization benefits from our resources, we encourage you to consider these options:

  • Corporate Sponsorship – Partner with us as a mission-aligned supporter
  • Philanthropic Giving – Make a tax-deductible contribution to sustain free access

A Note on Attribution and Modification

All Teach Access materials are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. We ask that you respect these terms by providing proper attribution and not redistributing or modifying the materials without permission, particularly in commercial contexts.

By working together, we can ensure that high-quality learning resources remain accessible to those who need them most while building a more equitable future for all learners.

Thank you for your stewardship and support.
