Karo Caran and Victor Tsaran

Karo leads the Accessibility Program at Google Play. She has a PhD in Education and is currently pursuing MFA in Creative Writing and Literature. Her partner, Victor currently works at Google, focusing on user design products’ personalizability and accessibility. He previously led PayPal’s Accessibility Team, enabling users with disabilities to effectively use their products on mobile and desktop devices.

Session Description

Imagine you see very little or nothing at all. While this may sound scary, we’re fortunate to live at a time when technology can compensate for what we cannot see. Please join us for a session that will focus on aspects of our work and outside of work + our journeys to get to where we are today.

About the Student Academy

The Teach Access Student Academy is a FREE program that will consist of virtual monthly webinars for students so they can explore a variety of topics on disability and accessibility. It will be open to any students enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program at a College or University and will be a great opportunity to learn about accessibility and network with a wide variety of people in higher education, industry, and advocacy organizations.
