The updated Teach Access Fundamental Concepts & Skills Framework is here! This framework provides guidance for educators on how to integrate accessibility topics into their courses, helping students build a foundational understanding of accessibility. It includes overarching goals, sample learning objectives for different instructional levels, and key concepts and skills to support effective teaching of accessibility across disciplines.

Teach Access Partners with Dicapta for Faculty Fellows Program
Teach Access and Dicapta wrapped up a six-month pilot program, where higher education Faculty Fellows were trained in media accessibility. From workshop sessions to final project showcases, educators explored how technology can amplify inclusion in classrooms and beyond. Fellows walked away with new skills, strategies, and inspiration to embed accessibility into their teaching and content creation strategies. Read the full blog post about this program.

Join Teach Access at the M-Enabling Summit on Wednesday, October 8th, 9:30 am to 2:15 pm ET for our workshop, Teaching and Credentialing Digital Accessibility in Higher Education: The Why, the What, and the How. This workshop will be a hands-on seminar designed for educators and academic professionals interested in bringing accessibility into the classroom. Expect to learn practical strategies, explore ready-to-use teaching activities, and discover ways to engage others on your campus. The session will also include a collaborative brainstorming activity focused on developing a future micro-credential in teaching accessibility, jointly offered by Teach Access and IAAP.
